Responsible to: Venue and Entertainment Manager

Responsible for: N/A

Contract type: Zero Hours (in accordance with the needs of the organisation and the individual staff member)

Hours of work: Up to 20 hours per week during term time (including some unsociable hours)

Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Purpose of role

To assist in the Summer Ball celebrations (June 2026) and Freshers week celebrations (September 2026).

To provide a range of technical support services for Students’ Union events, activities and group performances. This includes sound and lighting engineering, rigging event décor, and the general maintenance of equipment
