The role

We're looking for an experienced Purchase & Sales Ledger Assistant to join our busy and supportive Finance team on an initial temporary contract (25 hours per week), with the potential for the role to become permanent.

You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier and customer invoices, managing credit card administration, and supporting the smooth running of our finance operations.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while helping deliver an efficient, high-quality finance service across the Students' Union.

Job Type: Fixed-Term, 3 months contract

Grade and salary range: Grade 4, £20,283 - £21,826. Salary is subject to RHSU’s Pay & Reward Policy.

Hours of Work: 25 hours per week. Weekly hours to be arranged directly with Line Manager, in line with the current make-up of the Finance team. Hours can be arranged in line with RHSU’s flexible working approach and to suit the needs of the organisation.
